FLYBALL TASMANIA
Come along to Flyball this Sunday, team training at 10.00am (great to watch) and beginners training open to everyone at 11.00am (you will need to become a member of the Hobart Dog Training Club first, but the cost of yearly membership is only $25 and totally worth it!) $3 per training session.
Training with HDTC
Hobart Dog Training Club offers the chance for you and your dog to become involved in a range of doggy activities. Classes are aimed at developing a good relationship between handler and dog – essential for a happy and well behaved pet dog, but also the foundation for all other dog activities. This is achieved primarily through positive reinforcement, using praise and reward. Training is based on showing the dog what you want, and rewarding the dog for doing what is wanted.
We teach you as a handler how to teach your dog – starting with simple things like sit, drop, and stay, and moving on to a variety of more complicated behaviors including tricks and the skills required for a variety of dog performance activities. Most of all, we want you and your dog to have fun.
